FOH1 10 – How to Check In a Patient with Consent Forms and to Pay on Arrival
The following video is a role play demonstration of Linda welcoming a patient with consent forms and to pay on arrival.
Unpacking the video
In welcoming the patient, Linda:
- Greeted the patient
- Confirmed their name, and the name of the dentist that they had the appointment with
- Linda checked that the patient parked in one of the recommended parking spaces (to avoid being fined)
- Linda also confirmed if the patient had something to eat that day and offered a juice or water
- Linda provided the Consent Forms
- Linda walked with the patient to introduce them to FOC2 to make the required payment
