Making Calls
In this section, we cover:
- Checking you are in the correct department
- Entering phone numbers
- Making the call
- In call functions
I demonstrate to users how to make a call using Dialpad. Starting from entering the number into the keypad and then the functionality whilst on the call. We cover transferring calls to other departments so that user’s understand the difference in how to make a warm transfer (talking to the recipient first not just sending the patient through) also covered when in the call the patient needs to be placed on hold in the transfer process
Sending messages
In this section, we cover:
- Where to find messages
- Direct messages
- Current limitations
This video shows where to find the messages and how to message directly to a patient. I send a test message to myself via Dialpad as a demo on how it looks to the user. Also covered is that no MMS is currently available via Dialpad and if images need to be sent, it needs to be done via email
