Invisalign and Clear Aligners
Traditionally, metal wires and brackets were the only way to straighten teeth. The evolution in technology and demand for aesthetics has paved the way for alternative solutions, such as Invisalign and clear aligners.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is a modern, virtually clear alternative to traditional braces, designed to straighten patients’ teeth using a series of custom-made, clear aligners. These aligners are nearly invisible, removable, and tailored to fit comfortably over a patient’s teeth. Invisalign® gently shifts their teeth into their ideal position through a precise, personalised treatment plan. With no metal brackets or wires, patients can enjoy a more comfortable treatment experience and continue eating, drinking, and brushing as usual.
With years of experience straightening our patients’ smiles with Invisalign®, we know that it can help address a variety of dental concerns such as the following:
- Crowded teeth
- Overbite
- Underbite
- Crossbite
- Gaps
- Open bite
- General alignment

What are Clear Aligners?
Clear Aligners are custom-made plastic trays designed to move a patient’s teeth into their ideal position gradually. Each set it worn for approximately 1-2 weeks before progressing onto the next tray.
Unlike fixed braces, clear aligners are removable, nearly invisible and more a lot more comfortable. At Dental Boutique™, we use advanced digital scanning and treatment planning technology to help a patient’s clear aligners fit precisely and deliver results and efficiency as possible.

Clear Aligners vs Invisalign® – What’s the Difference?
Invisalign® is the most well-known clear aligner brand. They use a proprietary thermoplastic material called ‘SmartTrack’ for their aligners, which enhances effectiveness and patient comfort. Invisalign is something we are very comfortable using here at Dental Boutique, we are the largest provider in Australia, completing over 1000+ cases per year.
Clear Aligners are non-Invisalign brands; they too, offer a virtually clear and removable solution for teeth straightening. Following the same step-by-step, tray-based process, at Dental Boutique, we offer both Invisalign and alternative Clear Aligners to give you the flexibility to choose a treatment option that suits your clinical needs, budget and functional and aesthetic outcome.
