FOC – FOC 1 – Appointment Icons (What Do They Mean)

The following video explains the different appointment icons that we utilise to assist in quickly recognising certain elements of an appointment, from an emergency new patient, to capturing if a coffee has been offered to the patient.

Below is a list of the appointment icons that were discussed during the video:

Consultation Type Icons:

  • AOI – AOI Consultation
  • CB – Composite Bonding Consultation
  • PV – Porcelain Veneers Consultation
  • OC – Ortho Consultation

Other Icons:

  • E – Aftercare Video Sent
  • C – Coffee (patient was offered a coffee)
  • D1 – Day 1 Confirmed NP (Patient was confirmed the day before their appointment)
  • D – Dual Booking (patient has another booking in the book)
  • E NP – Emergency New Patient
  • F – Family (a family member is either side of their booking)
  • G – GA (general anaesthesia)
  • FINAL – invisalign off-boarding
  • Q – Lab Received (labwork has been received by the clinic)
  • L – Lab work needed (input an L and change it to a Q once it is received)
  • b – Marketing from front (either an influencer or they have been asked to come in by the marketing team)
  • F – Medical History Forms Sent
  • H – Patient Happy/ Account complete (patient has been checked out of FOC2)
  • P – Phone Patient (if the patient is running a little late and you have phoned the patient)
  • A – Pt wants earlier appt (let’s everyone know that the patient is interested in coming in for an earlier appointment – so you can call them if any spaces in the book come up)
  • RQ – Requested Clinician
  • V– Video Consult
  • W – Welcome video sent
