Expectation of Wait times
If a patient is waiting longer than 10 minutes FOC1 MUST check with the Clinical Team Lead how much longer the clinician is going to be.
In assisting patients:
- Didn’t panic if unexpected challenges occur
- Establish what the patient requires – checked their treatment notes
- If possible, pop them in with their provider (and let the provider know)
- Set up another room, if required
- Work with the clinical coordinator so that we can best attend to the patient.
