In welcoming the existing patient, Linda:
- Greeted the patient
- Confirmed their name, and the name of the dentist that they had the appointment with
- The patient was offered a juice or water
- Linda walked with the patient to the lounge (waiting area) and reminded the patient where the bathrooms are
