Unpacking the video – Elements of Welcoming a New Patient
In welcoming the new patient, Linda:
- Greeted the new patient
- Sent the Medical History Form via sms and explained the process to the patient
- Linda also checked that the new patient parked in one of the recommended parking spaces (to avoid being fined)
- The patient was offered a juice or water
- Linda walked with the new patient to the lounge (waiting area) and showed the new patient where the bathrooms are
