Family Rules

At Dental Boutique we want every patient to have an amazingly wonderful experience, where they are elated with their new smile design.

It is equally as important that we also extend this quality of care when we connect with each other.

Our Family Rules outline the guidelines that assist us all to ensure that we conduct ourselves in a manner that aligns with who we are. Familiarise yourself with our Family Rules below.

Appearance and Grooming

You must dress and present yourself in a professional manner at all times. We are a premium cosmetic dental practice and your appearance should reflect this. Please wear your name tag at all times. If you lose this, we can supply another at your own cost.

Social Media

We are active in social media for marketing purposes. You may be exposed to filming as part of your daily work routine and the content may be posted on social media. Make sure you are comfortable with this and try to participate in it.

Working hours

Be punctual. Our patients and your colleagues rely on you. Clock in and out from Employment Hero when you start your shift, before and after your lunch break and when you finish for the day.

Reasonable Overtime

You may be required to work reasonable overtime in order to maintain patient care. Ask confirmation from your team leader before leaving.

Confidentiality

You are required to keep Patient information, colleague information, Dental Boutique resources, training protocols, processes, logins & passwords and contractual agreements strictly confidential. Sharing such information may lead to disciplinary measures.

Payroll

We have a fortnightly pay cycle. You will be paid on the Friday following each fortnights cycle. If you have any issues please speak to your Manager who will raise it with the Payroll team.

Annual Leave

Leave requests must be lodged via Deputy with a minimum of 4 weeks notice. Do not book your holidays prior to approval. As much as we’d love to accommodate all requests, we need to ensure we maintain service continuity to our patients.

Sick & Carer’s Leave

Contact your supervisor with as much notice as possible. Do not just rely on a text message. You must provide a medical certificate for any sick leave.

Staff Discount

After successfully completing your 6 month probation period, you are entitled to a discount on any of our procedures. Please speak to your Practice Manager or Principal Dentist to find out more.

Car Parking

Clinic car parking is for patients only. Any other vehicles will be towed away.
